Sybu Data is a software engineering company specializing in the development of bespoke solutions.

Founded by André E Roodt, an M Eng. graduate from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Our company has extensive experience in the development of mission critical software for government, enterprises in multiple industries. The primary service offering is bespoke enterprise cloud solutions utilizing the Microsoft technologies C#, ASP.NET, Azure SQL and Cosmos DB with deployment to Azure platforms.

For Government, solutions that we have developed that are currently in active use are BCEPS (Biometric Co-Enrolment) for South African Medical Research Council and SuperSign for the South African Department of Agriculture Fisheries and Department of Land Reform. For clients in the financial industry we have developed a Broker Deal Note Management System for a medium-sized enterprise in Mauritius, and a Broker Management System for a local Insurance Brokerage.

We have developed products for the industrial sector, specifically fruit and grape automation software. There are more than 100 active installations in South Africa, Europa, North and South America. The South African Bureau of Standards’ (SABS) Design Institute awarded the Vizier Grapesizer the Design Excellence Awards of 2010, for Engineering Category, with André Roodt as the software contributor.

We also provide mobile app development, and more specifically, native iOS for iPhone and iPad. One of our mobile software apps, has more than 3 000 000 downloads from the Apple AppStore, with an average star rating of 4.6 out of 5 from worldwide user base (March 2017).
