An alarm condition is generated. This alarm must first be acknowledged and cleared, before the sorter can run again.

Resolution:

R-Click to acknowledge the alarm, wait a few moments for the system to process the acknowledgement, the icon will indicate a little clock

R-Click to clear the alarm.  Once the alarm clears, the "Stop after" will be active again, and a new limit can be set.
